So, what’s all the fuzz about? well, the Dash is a small, stealthy vaporizer that offers features normally seen only in more expensive vaporizers, such as the propeller insert that cools the vapor, the aluminum housing, the glass-lined oven, and a simple one-button interface.

You should know that the Dash is a portable dry herb vaporizer, which means it only vapes dry herbs. It does not get hot enough to vaporize wax or concentrates and was not made for that. Keep that in mind!

Its operation combines a clean air source and an integrated air path, allowing you to experience the unsurpassed flavor and vapor production with your favorite strains. The glazed stainless steel heating chamber features three different temperature settings.

The Dash is quite fast to warm up. On average it takes 15-20 seconds to reach temperature and the session has a 5-minute automatic shut-off timer. The Dash offers three temperature settings, with blue being the lowest at 375F/190C, green at 401F/205C, and red at 428F/220C.

The Dash interface couldn’t be simpler and easier to use. It has a single button that controls absolutely everything and has haptic feedback to guide you through what you are doing. Pressing the button five times turns it on and it starts to warm up.

The G Pen Dash has an internal 950 mAh battery that charges fully via micro USB in just over an hour.  Battery life is displayed with LED lights on the front of the device that gives an approximation that lets you know when you’re about to run out of battery. This is a detail that we appreciate.

In general, the abundance and ease of vapor produced are quite good, whether you are pulling long and fast or low and slow.

We were able to verify that the heating is uniform, even at the highest temperature setting, allowing for consistent and generous smokes.

As simple as the design is, so is the cleaning. If you want a basic cleaning and not very deep, just dip a swab in isopropyl alcohol and gently wipe the oven and the screen of the nozzle.

If you are a fan of deep cleaning, it is also very simple. The nozzle separates very easily by separating the silicone grommet that also holds the screen, a quick soak and rubs with isopropyl will leave it squeaky clean.

Using the Dash is also quite simple as its design is very intuitive, you just have to:

1. Remove the nozzle and load the finely ground material into the chamber. The chamber has a capacity of up to a quarter of a gram and should not be over-tightened.
2. Attach the magnetic nozzle.
3. Press the button five times to turn on and activate heating.
4. Press the button three times to select the desired temperature range.
5. When the desired temperature is reached, the Dash vibrates.
6. Take slow, deep puffs.
7. Enjoy
