How To Make THC & CBD Bath Bombs

A DIY guide to making your own THC or CBD bath bombs.

Bathing is top-tier relaxation. Even when we were tots, it was always a place of joy, fun, and peace. Today, bath lovers continue finding relaxation in their tub soaks with the help of trendy bath bombs.

Bath bombs have been around for years now, helping us wind down and relax with mystical colors, fun fizzies, and pleasing aromas. They’ve grown so popular that many individuals have taken up the art of creating their own homemade bath bombs, steering away from harmful chemicals that many companies put in their products.

Now blossoming in the cannabis world are THC and CBD bath bombs, making our soaks all the more relaxing. They’re great for anyone suffering from anxiety, as they soothe the senses in several ways. You can opt to purchase a THC or CBD bath bomb from local dispensaries, but what’s the fun in that?

Here’s a step-by-step guide to making your own THC or CBD bath bombs.

What Are The Benefits Of THC & CBD Bath Bombs?

The real question is, are there any drawbacks? Besides reserving some of your precious THC or CBD for a bath bomb, there are no drawbacks.

While bath bombs are incredibly beneficial in their own right, infusing them with cannabinoids like THC and CBD can increase relaxation by a mile. These fizzy balls were designed to promote peace and rest when soaking in the tub, so with added THC and CBD, that relaxation is enhanced tenfold.

Bath bombs can emit various aromas, depending on if you choose to use essential oils or not. Thus, they’re an excellent tool for aromatherapy, especially when the steamy hot water spreads the aroma throughout the room.

Plus, they’re very aesthetically pleasing. Watching as your bath bomb fizzes away into nothingness is quite a satisfying experience. With the addition of THC and CBD, satisfaction is unmatched. The cannabinoids are absorbed topically to reduce inflammation, soothe pain, and promote relaxation.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp of Cannabis oil. Can be CBD, THC, or both. Whichever you prefer.
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or olive oil
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup Epsom salts
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • A touch of water
  • Your favorite essential oil(s)

Directions

  • Have your cannabis oil ready, whether it’s CBD or THC.
  • Start by mixing the dry ingredients, then add oils and a dash of water.
  • Mix all ingredients slowly until consistency is enough to hold and not crumble when shaped into a ball. If it crumbles, add more water. Remember, you can’t go back if you’ve added too much water.
  • Place your bath bombs into a sphere mold or any other shape. Cookie cutters will work too.

It’s worth noting that although we suggested three tablespoons of THC or CBD oil, feel free to bend the rules and add whatever amount you’re comfortable with. Once your molds have sat out and dried, drop them in your bathtub and get your relaxation on.
