More than just your average sneaker store, Blends has blossomed its reputation over the past ten years to bring quality, trendy, and sporty footwear to the masses. Blends recently collaborated with Vans last month, and they released their “Peacoat” Blends x Vans Vault Sk8-Hi Reissue Zip LX. The store does not focus on one particular brand. Instead, they carry rare releases from Nike SBs to Chucks and Jeremy Scott’s Coture Adidas. Looking for more casual and athletic kicks too? Blends has your back.

Round Two

Making its debut its Richmond, VA, the three passionate dudes behind the storefront needed an outlet to share their favorite kicks with the world. Three years later, Round Two launched two different stores, with one in the heart of Los Angeles. The founders are dedicated to their mission of providing affordable and sought-after kicks. The greatest thing about Round Two is the exceptional and friendly service, not to mention the store’s daily merchandise updates.

Another innovative and modern destination, Brooklyn Projects, is the brainchild of Dominick DeLuca, which is also a boutique clothing retail store and an art gallery. The location also has a mini skateboard ramp in its backyard, inviting boarders to test out their new kicks on the ramp. The ramp was also skated on by legends Tony Alva and Christian Hosoi. Brooklyn Projects is known for executing exclusive and rare collaborations, like Nike SB on the 2013 release of the Dunk Low Walk of Fame.

This reliable and go-to sneaker shop has been a favorite for thousands of skateboarders, dubbing the store a classic for over thirty years. You can easily recognize Sportie LA simply due to the shop’s unique graffiti on the outside, which locals often use as a backdrop for their photos. Sportie LA does carry fresh and brand new items, but it’s mostly known for having an extensive array of retro kicks.
