Etheridge Farms strives to help bring bliss and relaxation into your everyday lives.
The latest addition to the cannabis industry is Grammy Award-winning artist Melissa Etheridge. She’s recently secured 47 acres in California’s Santa Cruz Mountains, which she calls Etheridge Farms.
When asked about why she wanted to get into the weed business, Etheridge replied to CBS, saying, “I wanted to be in the front of this because I feel that there’s not a representation for middle-aged women in the cannabis industry.”

The company is incredibly close to her heart, especially after Etheridge discovered cannabis and its healing abilities during grueling chemotherapy sessions after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004.
“And so they gave me, like, super-duper-duper chemo, which was really, really horrible,” Etheridge said. “Especially in your gastrointestinal system. So immediately, as soon as I took the first chemo, and you start feeling it by the end of the night, I smoked. And you get instant relief from nausea, and you have an appetite.”

Etheridge farms aren’t all about getting high; they’re focused on moving people into a healthier and more organic lifestyle. “It’s pesticide-free,” she said about her products. “It’s the quality, and it’s measured out. You’re gonna be able to understand what the dosage is. That’s the product I want to present.”
“Life is hard enough; let’s take it easy on ourselves,” she said. “We don’t have to go through life, you know, clutching the steering wheel. We can relax a little bit,” she concluded.

Although Etheridge Farms isn’t open to the public yet, Melissa hopes that placing her name behind the brand will help more people find bliss and relaxation in their everyday lives.
