One of the highest THC strains in North America is entirely odorless.
A Canadian company in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, just announced a significant milestone in the cannabis industry after testing one of North America’s most potent cannabis strains, coming in at a whopping 41% total cannabinoid content.
The company is CannabCo Pharmaceutical Corporation, and they’re happy to achieve this milestone with a lab-tested cannabinoid count of 40.59%. The strain’s THC content sits at a high and mighty 35%. Another incredibly unique feature of the strain, other than its high potency, is that it was created with Purecann, CannabCo’s proprietary odorless cannabis technology.
Using Purecann odorless technology means the strain is entirely odorless when stored and smoked, perfect for discreet smokers and those who don’t want to draw attention with their smelly green. This is the first time the industry has seen such a potent product that’s odorless, and CannabCo claims this kind of product is what consumers need.

CannabCo has worked on a few other strains using Purecann technology, ranging from under .3% for the smokeable hemp market to various strains with cannabinoid contents of 20-32%. This process led the team to test its odorless technology on its highest THC range yet, at 35%.
The highest THC dry flower in the Ontario Cannabis Store market sits at a maximum of 32% THC, and CannabCo’s CEO, Mark Pellicane, claims his company can surpass that. Pellicane stated that his company is constantly “pushing the limits” with its unique technology in a recent press release.
Additionally, Pellicane states that with the increased demand for high THC strains, “it made sense to target the same in odorless variants,” which resulted in the company’s latest milestone achievement. He added that his company is working on multiple strains in the high 30s and market-specific strains with precise THC levels and cannabinoid profiles to target specific consumers and effects.
In the press release, CannabCo’s COO Mark Novak added that his company has taken the time during the pandemic to “developed products suitable for multiple target markets.” Take Israel, for example, which has a cap on THC in dry flower. For this reason, CannabCo developed products specific to the 20-25% range to maximize consumer purchases for that specific medical and pending recreational market.
Currently, CannabCo is being asked to deploy its Purecann odorless technology to markets in the United States, EU, Israel, Australia, and South America. CannabCo strives to continue developing innovative and first-ever products through its unique, undisclosed technology and grow partner.
