The Problems We’re Helping to Solve: In a perfect world, every person who could benefit from CBD products would. But we don’t live in a utopia. There are two main problems holding people back from embracing hemp-derived alternatives; we’re dedicated to helping solve them.

The first is the lack of high-quality CBD (and other cannabinoid) products on the market, or, more notably, the abundance of low-quality ones. The FDA doesn’t regulate CBD products because they don’t meet the safety standards required to be regulated under the same frameworks as foods and supplements. This lack of regulation makes it relatively easy for companies to make and sell products that haven’t been proven to be potent and safe by 3rd-party lab tests.

The second problem is the lack of public knowledge about the benefits of hemp cannabinoid products. If people can’t understand the benefits of hemp, they can’t possibly be expected to put it in (or on) their bodies. In some cases, this looks like people conflating legal, therapeutically beneficial hemp products with illegal cannabis used solely for recreation. In other cases, it means just not knowing they exist. This lack of knowledge is due in part to the CBD market being relatively new — only since 2018 have hemp-derived products been federally legal. It’s also caused by the lack of research on hemp, which means the government and media can’t discuss the benefits of hemp products in exacting terms.
