You’re lying if you say you don’t think, even just a little bit, about what you put in your hair. You might be a weirdo that still uses two-in-one shampoo and conditioner or one of those hoarders that has a type of shampoo for each case.
Whichever profile you fall under, you know that at least some part of you reads the label of what you’re using every day to clean your head. In which case, did you know that some drug tests don’t require pee in a bottle, not even a blood sample, but they need only a strand of hair?
You probably didn’t. This is why we want to talk to you about the best detox shampoos that won’t be too harsh on your scalp, but they’ll scrub enough to get rid of any residue that might make you fail a drug test.
Pass Your Test is a favorite of ours since they specialize in specifically made treatments for each individual and their needs to successfully and healthily pass a drug test (of any kind).
We were more than pleased when they released their Folli Clean Shampoo, which will cleanse your hair in one hour and work afterward for over 24. It’s amazing to think it’s also PH-balanced, safe for permed & color-treated hair.
The kit comes with instructions because, believe it or not, some people still need guidance when it comes to cleaning themselves. Well, in this case, it’s not just surface cleaning, but really allowing your hair to purge all signs of toxins and breathe properly during your test.
Keep in mind that you shouldn’t use any product on your hair after you’ve shampooed, not even conditioner, but once your test is in, you can happily treat it once more.
This shampoo has a nice, clean smell that goes well with each was, and they have to be at least 15 times before your taste to ensure its efficiency.
This means that, for optimum results, start using the Old Style Aloe Toxin Rid Shampoo at least a week or more before your test, so you can see the best results without hurting your scalp.
Even if you’re done with the test, this is still a great choice if you feel like the build-up on your scalp is too much for your other soaps and treatments.
This shampoo is the perfect complement to the previous choice, but it can be used separately.
On the day of your test, you must wash your head with this one, following the instructions carefully, because it is a deeper cleaner which means it can be a bit more invasive than others.
This is not to say this is chlorine in a bottle, but it’s more of a once every so often kind of treatment. It will rid your hair of residue, pollution, oils, and any medical or drug-related buildup that could show on a drug test.
This is major in anything you consume, but especially if you need the best results. Read reviews, look up websites like ours (preferably, ours) and learn how these shampoos work and which one is the choice for you.
Look for cleansing and detoxing agents, things like citrus, aloe or mint, and eucalyptus, that help both clean your scalp and won’t burn the skin right off because of the harsh chemicals.
Effectiveness rates might be harder to come by, but again, read every detail you possibly can about any of the shampoos before you decide which one to buy.
Ultimately, this can be the detonator for your choice. These treatments aren’t cheap, so be sure that you’re not breaking your own bank if you aren’t positive you’ll get the best results.

You’d be surprised how much residue can build up and stay on your scalp if you’re not treating it properly.
We forget to do a proper detox, whether it be for a drug test or not, every so often, letting our hair breathe from the things we put into it, as well as environmental factors that stick.
Hair follicle tests take advantage of this forgetfulness and allow testers to find what can be more commonly hidden in urine tests.
The oils that your body secretes naturally will contain traces of drugs if you’re taking any, and because you might not wash as thoroughly, they can be retained for over 90 days.
We hate to preach abstinence, but we have to say it: the best way to pass an andy drug test is to simply stop doing drugs for at least a month before the test.
This isn’t always possible, for a myriad of reasons we won’t judge. Still, in that case, you should be prepared for the kinds of tests that you could undergo and the corresponding methods to cleanse your body safely of any traces of whatever you’re doing.

Hair detoxing is simple; it’s the art of cleaning the hair so deeply that it is squeaky clean from the very follicles and roots to the tips.
It’s removing anything, and we do mean anything, from each strand, leaving no signs of possible usage of substances that could show up on drug tests.
This is the most impressive part… it works, like any other shampoo! Some of them might require more frequent washes and perhaps longer setting times, but that’s all on the label.
In the end, it’s the same principle: water, soap, wash, rinse and repeat.

Bleaching your hair can help you pass a drug test, but it might not be enough to show negatives on your results successfully.
Plus, it can be both an expensive and risky move to treat your hair with these chemicals: if you don’t go to a good hair salon, then you can end up with chemical burns on your skin and your hair falling off in chunks.
We think it’s easier to stay with the shampoo, which will give you a less permanent change in appearance and just as good of a possibility of acing that drug test.
