Looking for a happy-go-lucky sativa? Cinex is your strain. Though it is strongly sativa-dominant, it tends to produce a gentle body high that provides balance. Pick up some Cinex when you need to de-stress. It also promotes focus, so this flower is perfect when you need to get things done.

Cinex is a cross between Cinderella 99 and Vortex. Both parent strains are strong sativa-dominant hybrids. As true hybrids, however, they carry some indica in the mix. Cinderella 99 is a cross between indica Shiva Skunk and sativa Jack Herer. Vortex is a mix of two hybrids, Appolo 13 and Space Queen.

Most Cinex buds are very high in THC. Levels of the psychoactive often reach up to 25%. Some dispensaries carry a lower THC version of the herb. You can find some buds with as low as 15%. Though, higher potency Cinex seems to be more common.

This sativa is extremely popular in the Northwest. A well-grown Cinex will be a light, almost sage green with plenty of white crystals. Bright orange hairs accent the pastel coloration. It’s known to have a bit of a grassy flavor, so if you’re not into that you may want to try something else.

It also features notes of citrus and plenty of pungency. The combination creates a bit of a sharp, acidic aroma.

The Cinex experience

Though this strain is potent and sativa-dominant, Cinex provides a pretty mild and mellow experience. If you’re a new consumer, you may find this strain a little too potent. However, those who know their way around some cannabis will appreciate the happy and calm stimulation this strain provides.

The indica in the Cinex line adds a pleasant body hum to an otherwise heady experience. This relaxed, physical sensation takes the edge off of any uncomfortable raciness typically caused by sativas.

What’s so noteworthy about this strain is the clear-headed, light feeling that it creates. It’s quite uplifting without being over the top or uncomfortable. Everything is just sort of smooth, easy, and happy.

It’s not uncommon to giggle quite a bit with this silly strain. It’s perfect for a chill afternoon with friends and family. It’s also a great strain for just getting things done.

You might not want to do anything extremely demanding, but if you’re cleaning the house or picking away at a project, Cinex is the perfect companion. It promotes an easygoing focus and concentration.

Cinex tends to please both recreational and medical cannabis consumers. This strain’s upbeat nature adds a layer of pleasantness to any task at hand. It’s not energizing enough for an all-nighter on the dance floor. But, it is a safe bet for a trip to a pub or a long hike.

Many patients tend to like this strain for mental health reasons. Those with ADD/ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and depression rate this strain high on the list fairly often.

Thanks to the gentle, body-numbing effects, those with inflammatory conditions like arthritis or anyone with minor aches and pains may find relief with Cinex. This strain is also a great choice for headaches and migraines.
