In case you ever wondered how to protect yourself during the inevitable Zombie apocalypse, say no more. The multi-billion dollar founder of Tesla Elon Musk has birthed a flamethrower much to the delight of every doomsday enthusiast out there. Despite Musk himself denying that the product’s intended use is to protect against Zombies, we know the truth.

Starting Sunday, Musk announced that he would open sales for the state-of-the-art flamethrower, his latest product, which will help fund one his projects calle The Boring Company. The Boring Company is part of Musk’s plan to build tunnels underneath Los Angeles to help with their influx of traffic. Back in December, he sold a shit ton of $20 hats to get the ball rolling on this tunneling adventure (as in $600,000 worth).

Starting at $500 a pop, according to an interview in Gizmodo, Musk has already sold 7.5 million dollars in pre-order sales of his flamethrower. Other than killing Zombies, I can’t imagine any other use for this contraption. On the bright side, it would definitely come in handy for those pesky occasions when there doesn’t seem to be a lighter anywhere in sight and it’s time to blaze.
