Seattle restaurant fights to have marijuana on their menu. Will it happen?

In Washington you can only sell prepackaged marijuana and can’t consume on a liquor license premise. One Seattle restaurant says that’s just not okay.

5 Point Cafe in Seattle, WA sees a demand and are pushing limits to create the supply.

As you’re likely aware, cannabis is fully legal in Washington State, but like all legal frameworks, is ripe with stipulations and technicalities.

These restrictions include limiting sale to prepackaged marijuana and disallowing any consumption on a liquor license premise. And that’s just not okay.

Owner David Minor says that customers want to be able to order cannabis-infused dishes, and that he will push for an initiative if it doesn’t happen soon.

We are all aboard that effort! When can we dine?
