6 Things To Do If You’re Not Getting As High Anymore

While taking some time away from the ganja is your best bet, it is possible to increase your buzz without having to lay down the pipe.

As you know, the more weed you smoke, the higher your tolerance. And once you’ve built up a high tolerance, you can only get but so stoned. That’s what some say anyway.  But believe it or not, there are ways to get just as high as you once were able to back when you lit your first joint. In fact, you might even get higher than that. With that said, don’t give up just yet. While taking some time away from the ganja is your best bet, it is possible to increase your buzz without having to lay down the pipe. From trying new strains to mixing tobacco with your herb, here are six things to do if you’re not getting as high anymore.

1. Eat more mangos

Not only is the terpene myrcene found in cannabis, but it’s also present in mangos. And when you ingest this delicious fruit, it causes the cell membranes in the brain to be more receptive for absorbing cannabinoids that travel in your weed smoke. Next time you have a sesh, chow down on a mango 45 minutes before you light up. Most pot smokers swear by it.

2. Try edibles

There’s a reason why everyone loves edibles. In addition to being tasty, they are also quite potent and offer a different high than what you get from smoking. But be sure to start off small. Otherwise, you’ll wind up with a high that’s so intense you’ll wish you were sober.

3. Dabs are great too

If you’re looking to achieve the ultimate high, dabs are the way to go. In fact, there are concentrates out there that contain as much as 99.9% THC. If that’s not enough to get you stoned off your ass, then what is? After just one hit, you’ll be as high as you would be if you smoked an entire blunt to yourself, if not more.

4. Stop toking on the same ol’ strain

Everyone has a favorite strain. But if you don’t branch out and try new ones here and there, then how will you ever know if you’re getting the best high possible? In case you need some ideas, here is an article on the 10 strongest weed strains of 2017 so far.

5. Add a little tobacco to the mix

Mixing weed with tobacco can offer a high like no other. As a result of putting the two together, you achieve an increased sense of euphoria, along with more psychoactive effects. And according to a 2009 study, adding tobacco to pot also causes the effects of cannabis to kick in faster and creates more available THC.

6. Cut your bud instead of grinding it

While this may or may not be true, some say using a grinder to bust down your stash takes away more THC. But when you use scissors, it allows for a finer cut without making you lose what matters most.
