We all like female plants and clones, but how about female superheroes? And what about chick supervillains? Well, you can have the best of both worlds because here we’ve covered seven of them for you to “geek-out” on matching them with their weed strains.
1. Black Mamba
It’s a snake and a character from “Kill Bill.” It’s also a supervillain from the Marvel Universe and a strain of course. This character was a call girl and later given powers by the Roxxon Oil Company.
The strain is strong and known to make you sleepy. Possibly derived from Granddaddy Purple and Black Domina. Buds are dark green and purple. It has an aroma of grape and the effects are known to last a long time.
2. Black Widow
The scientific term for this type of spider is Latrodectus. Created by Stan Lee this character is the antagonist of Iron Man. She joined forces with S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers. Currently, Scarlett Johansson is portraying this character in the movies.
It’s a hybrid from the White Widow family of strains. It’s high in THC and bred by Mr. Nice Seed Bank.
Nebula is an “alien supervillain.” She’s a space pirate/mercenary and her enemies are the Avengers and the Silver Surfer. Actress Karen Gillan portrayed Nebula in the movie “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
Created by Paradise Seeds way back in ’96. It delivers an intense “head and body buzz.” The buds are described as tasting and smelling like honey.
Viper, formerly known as Madame Hydra, is a supervillain by Marvel and she’s enemies with the Avengers and the X-Men.
A sativa with genetic origins in Burma and also from a Mexican strain called Blackseed. It has a citrus aroma.
Pyrokinesis is her superpower. She flies, changes into green fire, and is naked except for green flames covering her like fig leaves in all the right places. Holy smokes!
Fire OG is the strongest strain of the OG family. The buds are frost covered with long red hairs, makeing it resemble fire.
6. Poison Ivy
She’s one of Batman’s enemies and a “notorious eco-terrorist.” She was played by Uma Thurman in “Batman and Robin” the movie in 1997.
Poison Ivy is a genetically engineered strain with white widow, northern lights, sour diesel, and durban poison. It doesn’t grow like a traditional pot plant, but like a long vine. Invented by scientist Jaymes Dogheim in the Netherlands it has yet to be patented and released to the public as of the time of this writing. Too bad!
7. Lady Liberty
Lady Liberty is part of a government superhero team called the Force of July. She dresses in green robes and a crown just like the Statue of Liberty and she even has a French accent. Now, that’s a superpower!
It’s a 50/50 hybrid described as euphoric, energizing and has a grapefruit aroma with 22%.THC.
