Bella Hadid’s Bulgari Weed Necklace Isn’t For Regular Folk

The supermodel wore a dazzling necklace with ruby and diamond encrusted pot leaves, and we can’t have it.

Some say weed and fashion don’t mix, but supermodel Bella Hadid is proving that cannabis can be a chic and high-end fashion accessory. While attending a family dinner hosted by Italian luxury jeweler Bulgari in late September, Hadid rocked a necklace covered in diamond and ruby encrusted pot leaves from the brand’s “High Jewelry” line.

The weed necklace was first seen on Hadid’s Instagram, where she posted a shot of her posing fiercely in a black sequin strapless dress, along with the weed-friendly chain and its stunning hot pink leaves. “Last night at my @bulgariofficial family dinner. Wearing the newest, my most favorite, ‘happy leaves’ necklace set with rubies,” the caption reads.

Swipe over, and there’s a video of Hadid strutting in her ensemble, as well as a close-up video of just the necklace, which sparkles and shines as she films.

Unfortunately, the piece is no longer available to the public. That’s right, Hadid’s Bulgari weed necklace is literally priceless and also not available for regular people. However, there is a similar necklace up for grabs on Bugari’s site, although this particular version features diamonds and emeralds. Apparently, the brand had every intention of making the leaves look like pot. “Inspired by the recreational use of cannabis, the necklace is a piece of jewellery with high rate of addiction,” according to the description.

It’s unclear how much the Bulgari weed necklace costs, but at 18k white gold with pavé diamonds and pavé emeralds, you will likely require a Hadid-type of salary to afford such a stunner. You also must book an appointment before you can purchase, according to the site.

Bulgari’s dinner party wouldn’t be the first time Hadid has been spotted wearing cannabis-inspired fashion. In the summer of 2016, Hadid wore a denim bikini featuring a subtle brown pot leaf while celebrating Kylie Jenner’s 19th birthday. Hadid’s sister, Gigi, has also shown appreciation for weed through high-end fashion accessories. The following summer, she was photographed in New York City wearing a weed pendant, along with high-waisted jeans, a blue striped button-down, and brown alligator mules.
