CTV’s host Kevin Newman interviewed The Stoner’s Cookbook CEO Matt Gray on August 20th about his recent entrepreneurial endeavor into the edible marijuana industry and the culture that surrounds it.

Newman asks Gray if venturing into the industry at such a young age would be dangerous while the government is struggling to maintain a regulatory regime surrounding the market. “There is a lot of risk right now,” says Gray, “and as an entrepreneur I think part of your job is to take calculated risks.”

Gray’s research and experience in the edibles industry leads him to believe that within the next five years, edibles will become more mainstream, leading to more research done on the benefits and use of medical cannabis.
