Keep an eye out for these celebrity brands this year.
The number of weed brands available nationwide is rapidly increasing, and new ones are popping up faster than we can spark a joint. Among them? A growing list of celebrity weed brands.
While we’re all for supporting local growers and independent cannabis businesses, it’s hard not to be curious about trying the weed your favorite celeb is putting their name on. But just because there’s a big name on the label doesn’t mean the quality matches.
Too many celebrity brands fall flat once the buzz wears off because, in the cannabis community, name recognition can only get you so far. Quality, transparency, and a good high over hype and flashy marketing is the name of the game—if the flower’s mid, the fans will notice.
We pulled together a list of the top 10 celebrity cannabis brands that don’t just ride on star power. Check out the best brands of the year below, and grab some certified dank cannabis products while you’re at it.
Billboard
Beyond being a legendary rapper, Snoop Dogg is undeniably one of the most well-respected stoners of all time. With that, we had high expectations from his weed brand, Leafs by Snoop.
Launched in 2015, Leafs by Snoop was one of the first major celebrity-backed cannabis brands to hit the market, and nearly a decade later, it’s still running strong. They’ve tapped into all sorts of products across premium cannabis flower, concentrates, and edibles that many consumers (ourselves included) keep coming back to for one simple reason—it hits just right.
Building on his cannabis empire, Snoop expanded beyond Leafs by Snoop with the launch of Death Row Cannabis, a brand created in partnership with his record label. You can find these products in weed-friendly states like California and Colorado.

Brought to you by Rohan Marley, son of legendary Bob Marley, his company Lion Order is less of a brand and more of a movement. But don’t get me wrong, they still sell premium cannabis offerings, but in an effort to emphasize love, unity, and healing.
The Lion Order movement is deeply rooted in Rastafari values and principles, steering the business toward an ethical, welcoming movement that champions social change and personal enlightenment. The brand’s list of legendary strains and other potent products are infused with the Rastafari spirit, encouraging spiritual connection and mindfulness.
Rohan often refers to the brand as “Roots Luxury,” a concept that pays homage to his roots and upbringing in Jamaica while elevating it with a luxurious, modern twist. When you’re looking for the cream of the crop and strains that are Marley-approved, look to Lion Order and unleash the roar.

Country music legend Willie Nelson’s Willie’s Reserve pays homage to the outlaw culture of cannabis, the one Willie grew up knowing.
Impressively, one of their main goals is to support local (not something we see every day with the weed brands on this list). Willie’s Reserve teams with small, independent farmers to bring you some of the most consistent cannabis you’ll ever try.
It’s no secret that Nelson has a decades-long relationship with marijuana. Remember his unaired Super Bowl ad to legalize comfort? He’s extending the love to fellow cannabis users with flower, pre-rolls, vape cartridges, and edibles, all with a focus on sustainable cultivation practices.

Paging Dr. Greenthumb…we need some good kush STAT. Now available in several Dr. Greenthumb’s dispensaries around California, B-Real’s cannabis brand is keeping connoisseurs satisfied with premium quality strains at various prices.
While Dr. Greenthumb’s is a line of high-end California dispensaries, it’s also a flower brand that’s treating consumers to what B-Real’s been puffing on all these years.
Funny enough, not even B-Real could have predicted launching a successful cannabis brand when releasing Cypress Hill’s 1998 smash hit, “Dr Greenthumb.” Turns out, listeners wanted to smoke what he was growing, and the rest is history.

Rapper and entrepreneur Berner launched Cookies in California in 2012. Since then, the brand has trampled the West Coast cannabis scene as a frontrunner for diverse cannabis products.
With its distinctive blue packaging and trendsetting genetics, Cookies carries everything from flower and pre-rolls to cartridges and edibles. Its products are currently available in Washington, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Idaho, Colorado, Ohio, New York, and Canada.
Berner’s Cookies offers proprietary strains, clothing, and accessories in dispensaries across multiple states and countries. The brand’s influence on cannabis culture is undeniable, with its genetics forming the backbone of countless hybrid strains now popular in the cannabis community.

Wiz Khalifa is always smoking something good. It started in the early 2010s when brands would tailor strains to Wiz’s desired preferences and ultimate experience.
The result? The renowned celebrity weed strain, Khalifa Kush. Now, fans can purchase that strain and other potent products through the Khalifa Kush brand. It carries dank pre-rolls, powerful concentrates, and tasty edibles.
Known for its distinctive OG Kush-inspired aroma and effects, Khalifa Kush has expanded from its California origins to Nevada, Arizona, and Utah, with plans for Michigan and Florida later this year.

You might have heard of The Blues Brothers before. It’s a musical duo between actors and comedians Jim Belushi and Dan Akroyd.
Actor Jim Belushi’s 93-acre farm in southern Oregon grows premium cannabis for both The Blues Brothers brand (a collaboration with Dan Aykroyd) and his own Belushi’s Farm products. His journey into cannabis cultivation has been well documented in the series Growing Belushi.
It strives to deliver the best possible stimuli to endocannabinoid receptors through potent products and groovy Blues Brothers tunes. The “Working Man’s Brand” currently sells pre-rolls in Illinois dispensaries.

Bella Thorne’s Forbidden Flowers brand holds self-expression and individuality at its core.
It’s unapologetically sexy, cheeky, and free-spirited, like Thorne herself. She’s a firm believer in destigmatizing the plant and expunging records of the remaining thousands of cannabis prisoners.
The brand’s bold marketing and commitment to destigmatizing cannabis use have resonated incredibly well with younger consumers entering the legal market.
Forbidden Flowers has many unique products like flower, pre-rolls, vape cartridges, and even infused chocolate truffle edibles—all available in California dispensaries.
Los Angeles Times
Actors and screenwriters Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg launched Houseplant in 2021. The brand was allegedly in the making for over ten years!
The company originally launched in Toronto, Canada, but is currently only available in California. Canadian fans are out of luck—unless they can snag one of the remaining products on dispensary shelves, like the Indica-dominant 91 Krypt or the classic Sativa Chemdawg.

His first cannabis venture didn’t pack a punch. So, Tyson 2.0 is former heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson’s second jab in the cannabis industry.
Tyson is one of the most enthusiastic celebrity cannabis advocates. He would often smoke weed before some of his iconic fights or after the match to calm down.
He has a bunch of high-quality products, like the “Mike Bites” ear-shaped edibles with a chunk missing, not to mention recent collaborations with other industry heavyweights like Stündenglass. Tyson 2.0 products are available in California, Nevada, Massachusetts, Colorado, and Michigan.

After some extensive sampling and gritty research, we came down with a few findings. But ultimately, the “best” celebrity cannabis brand comes down to your personal preference. Here’s which brands stood out for specific reasons:
You might also be familiar with other frontrunners like Jay-Z’s luxury brand and Martha Stewart’s CBD products. In reality, they’re all pretty good. But finding which is best for you comes down to personal preference.
Several celebrity stoners have surprisingly not yet launched their own cannabis lines despite their well-known love for this special plant. Here are a few names we think should definitely tap into the cannabis industry with their own cannabis brands:
