We Tried Binoid’s Healing Cream: Here’s A Review

Looking for topical CBD relief? Check out this cream.

One of the most popular uses for CBD is topicals. Studies have shown that when applied directly to the skin via creams, ointments, or balms, CBD can help alleviate pain associated with muscular discomfort, damage in the nervous system, and even other conditions like osteoporosis and arthritis.

That’s why brands like the California-based Binoid have developed cannabidiol-rich topicals like their Healing Cream. By combining the most refined CBD extract with powerful plant-based ingredients, this cream is an excellent alternative for anyone seeking muscle and joint recovery.

Here’s our full review.

What Is A CBD Cream?

CBD cream is a CBD-infused topical intended to treat aches and pains in specific areas of the body.

Some topicals have been shown to have positive effects on skin-related problems such as acne and eczema. CBD-infused topicals are not euphoria-inducing or hallucinogenic. Their THC levels should be kept to a maximum of 0.3%.

Some CBD-infused lotions and creams are intended to relieve muscle and joint pain. Others claim to be beneficial for various skin problems, such as eczema or acne, although there is not much scientific evidence to back this up. You can even find CBD in some skincare products.

What To Look For In CBD Topicals

For choosing an appropriate CBD product you should consider several factors: dosage, quality, the extraction process, other ingredients included, and price.

Some CBD research suggests that the application of topical CBD products could be therapeutic for various conditions, including skin problems, pain relief, and inflammation.  While CBD research is still in its early stages, the little we know about CBD topicals is promising in some areas.

If you want to delve even deeper into what to look for in CBD topicals you have to consider:

  • If the product is manufactured by a company that discloses the origin of its hemp and its type of extraction.
  • If the product contains no more than 0.3% THC, according to the certificate of analysis (COA), additionally that it passes tests for pesticides, heavy metals, and molds.
  • Third-party laboratory tests (COA)
  • Verify the company’s certifications and manufacturing processes
  • Product potency
  • All ingredients in general
  • User confidence indicators and brand reputation
  • Customer reviews

Can CBD Creams Help With Pain

Topical CBD products have gained quite a bit of popularity for their anti-inflammatory properties that help relieve pain through cannabinoid receptors within the skin.

Basically, the receptors are a part of the body’s endocannabinoid system, which governs functions such as our ability to process pain, as well as inflammation, mood, and sleep. The cannabis plant contains phytocannabinoids such as CBD that interact with our endocannabinoid system. In this sense, hemp may have therapeutic properties on the body.

There are several clinical studies that show that CBD contributes to pain relief, especially in chronic situations such as peripheral neuropathy, acute pain and inflammation, arthritis pain, and myofascial pain.

Cannabinoids are thus recognized to help relieve pain and improve inflammation.

Can You Travel With CBD Cream

It is important to know that within the United States, you can fly with CBD products containing less than 0.3% THC.

Our suggestion is that in order to travel with CBD-containing products, you should research whether the destination (country or state that is a transit or final destination) allows CBD. It is also essential to be certain about the content of the product, if it is purely CBD or if it has some THC content.

It will always be better to check the regulations of each place, to avoid inconveniences.

Are CBD Creams Legal

It is important to know that hemp-derived CBD products with less than 0.3% THC are legal at the federal level, but are still illegal under some state laws. CBD products derived from marijuana, are illegal at the federal level but are legal under some state laws.

We suggest that you always check your local laws to avoid headaches.

The Farm Bill removed hemp and cannabis containing less than 0.3 percent THC from the list of Schedule I controlled substances. This effectively made CBD legal nationwide (as long as it contains less than 0.3 percent THC).

Can CBD Cream Get You High

CBD can be extracted from a cannabis plant or a hemp plant, but it does not have the same ability to generate the “high” or euphoric state as marijuana or THC because the content of this compound is zero or close to zero.

Among the possible effects of CBD is that it can help you feel relaxed or less anxious, but you will not get high if you decide to use a CBD-infused oil, tincture, cream, or other tonic product.

You should always make sure that the CBD product you are purchasing is of high quality and from a reputable and responsible company, preferably one that has quality testing from third-party labs.
