Cannabis-Infused Creepy Finger Cookie Recipe

These cannabis cookies are the perfect way to spook your friends and get them high at the same time.

Follow along this recipe courtesy of Cannabis Cheri to create some of the tastiest, creepiest, and dankest Halloween almond cookies.

To start, you’ll need 1/2 a cup of cannabis-infused butter. This can be purchased or made at home. Cheri adds that you can adjust the dosage to reflect your personal tolerance, but this recipe made with 10% THC cannabis will have about 20mg of THC per cookie. So if you want something higher or lower, use cannabis with a THC percentage you’re most comfortable with.

  • 1 teaspoon red and/or green food coloring
  • 30 whole blanched almonds
  • 2 large eggs large
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup cannabis-infused butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1-2 tablespoons Nutella or other dense spread (optional)

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 2 large baking sheets or line with parchment paper.
  • Drop each food coloring in a separate small bowl. Use a paintbrush to paint one side of each almond, then set them aside to dry.
  • Crack one egg yolk into a bowl and set the egg white aside for later use. Whisk together the one egg yolk, the other egg, and the almond extract.
  • In a different bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the canna-butter, powdered sugar, and granulated sugar until it’s fluffy and dense.
  • Add the egg/almond extract mixture to the sugar/butter bowl and mix.
  • Add in salt and flour until combined. The dough will be soft. Divide dough into two parts and place each dough on a piece of plastic wrap. Flatten, wrap, and chill for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Divide both doughs into 15 pieces. Roll each into a finger shape. Make the fingers thinner than you think, as the dough will rise and expand in the oven. Pinch dough in two places to form the knuckles and create small lines in each knuckle with a knife. Place on greased baking sheets.
  • Brush cookies with the remaining egg white. Press an almond “fingernail” into the end of each cookie.
  • Bake for about 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Sometimes the almonds have trouble sticking to the cookie. This is where Cheri encourages us to use Nutella to stick the almond down. Peanut butter will work too, as well as other dense and sticky products.
  • Serve, spook, get high, and enjoy!
