Recipe: THC Oreo Cheesecake

Cheesecakes just got better. Created with Bay Smokes.

This Oreo Cheesecake recipe is out of this world. It’s thick, creamy, and filled with cookies and cream, completely delicious.

For this recipe, we’ll give it a twist by adding the amazing Bay Smokes cookies, the Delta 8 Stoneos for an incredible high experience that’s not only delicious.

These Delta 8 THC cookies are a delicious way to satisfy your D8 THC needs. With a potency of 600 mg per bag.

In order not to overindulge, a mix between traditional Oreos and delicious Delta 8 Stoneos can be made. It all depends on your tolerance and creativity.

Some tips to obtain a completely delicious Oreo Cheesecake that will give you a spectacular high are:

  • Be sure to mix the ingredients at low speed to reduce the addition of air to the batter, which can cause cracks.
  • Use a water bath to bake this cheesecake, which helps prevent the cheesecake from over-browning, sinking in the center after/as it cools, and helps reduce cracking.
  • Having the cream cheese and eggs at room temperature helps them soften and incorporate more easily, reducing mixing time and preventing the filling from incorporating too much air.
  • Use an appropriate amount of Delta 8 Stoneos. Remember that they are made with Delta 8 and are very potent.

To cook this Oreo Cheesecake you must follow the instructions for each of its parts. Let’s start with the crust

1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a springform pan with parchment paper on the bottom and grease the sides.

  1. Combine the crust ingredients in a small bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the springform pan.
  2. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes and let it cool down.

Set aside and continue with the preparation of the filling:

Both Oreo crumbs/Delta 8 Stoneos and chopped Oreos with Delta 8 Stoneos are used for the filling, making it not just a vanilla cheesecake with some cookies, but a real Oreo/Delta8 Stoneos cheesecake that will be the most delicious way to get high.

The step-by-step for making the filling it is:

  1. Reduce oven temperature to 300°F (148°C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and flour on low speed until fully combined and smooth. Be sure to use low speed to reduce the amount of air added to the batter, which can cause cracks.
  3. Add the sour cream and vanilla extract and mix at low speed until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing slowly to combine after each addition. Gently stir the Oreo crumbs and Delta8 Stoneos into the filling.
  5. Add about one-third of the filling to the crust, then half of the Oreos and Delta 8 Stoneos, then another third of the filling, and the other half of the Oreos and Delta 8 Stoneos. Top with the rest of the filling and spread in an even layer.

To combine the crust and filling, do the following:

  1. Place the springform pan inside another, larger pan. Fill the outer mold with enough hot water to come halfway up the sides of the mold and bake in a bain-marie.
  2. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes. The center should be set, but still jiggly.
  3. Turn off the oven and leave the door closed for 30 minutes. The cheesecake will continue to cook, but will slowly begin to cool as well.
  4. Open the oven door for 30 minutes to allow the cheesecake to continue to cool slowly.
  5. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and from the bain-marie wrapper and refrigerate until firm, 5 to 6 hours or preferably overnight.

To make the ganache and decorate the cheesecake, follow the instructions below.

  1. Remove the cheesecake from the springform pan and place it on a serving platter.
  2. To make the ganache, place the white chocolate chips in a medium heatproof bowl.
  3. Heat the heavy cream just until it begins to boil.
  4. Pour the hot cream over the white chocolate chips and let stand for 2 to 3 minutes, then whisk until smooth. If not completely melted and smooth, heat in 10-second increments, stirring between each until completely melted.
  5. Let the ganache cool slightly (about 5 minutes, until thickened but still pourable and spreadable), then pour the ganache over the top of the cheesecake and spread evenly.
  6. To make the whipped cream, add the whipping cream and powdered sugar to a large mixer bowl. Whip on high speed until stiff peaks form.
  7. Pipe the whipped cream around the outside edge of the cheesecake.
  8. Finish the cheesecake by adding more chopped Oreos and Delta 8 Stoneos in the center of the cheesecake and in the swirls of whipped cream.
  9. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  10. Enjoy this delicious dessert that will give you a special high.

Being a cheesecake made with a mixture of traditional Oreos and Delta8 Stoneos you must be careful with the dosage.

So if you’ve never used a product like this before, start slow and start small. There is 600 mg of Delta 8 THC per bag, serving size should start at 1/4 of the contents of the bag, and wait at least 2 hours to see how it affects you before taking more.
