Feng Shui: The Ancient Art Of Decorating Your Space Could Help You Sleep Better

It's time to redecorate.

What originated in China and dates back thousands of years, the traditional practice known as feng shui might seem a little confusing at first, but it’s mainly about maintaining good health.

Modern feng shui primarily uses furniture, ornaments, and fabrics to create a visually pleasing space, letting energy flow peacefully.

While this traditional practice should be implemented around the home, it’s especially vital in the bedroom where our bodies rest and recharge.

We need quiet environments when we sleep, and this doesn’t mean actual auditory noise, but physical noise like clutter, garbage, and extra objects lying around.

Because feng shui is about balancing the natural forces of energy through your already made environment, this gives you the chance to redecorate to keep you relaxed but allows the energy to flow in and out with ease.

Tom’s Guide spoke with feng shui expert Sarah McAllister of The Feng Shui Agency via interview, where she shared some helpful tips for creating a blissful atmosphere in your bedroom.
