Is DynaVap Worth The Cost? Reviewing The Vape Brands Cost & Top Vapes

Investigating the DynaVap gear.

Most dry herb vapes don’t work well for us. We barely feel as high as we do when we smoke a joint or rip a bong. And when we finally learned that most dry herb vapes only extract around 50% of the active compounds like cannabinoids (THC, CBD) and terpenes, we understood why the high didn’t quite match up.

A recent dry herb vape getting a lot of online attention is the DynaVap. Apparently, they’re made in a way that maximizes extraction so that active compounds are extracted up to 80-96%.

Nobody had to ask us twice to try it out.

What Type Of Vape Is A DynaVap?

A DynaVap is a dry herb vaporizer produced by the brand called DynaVap.

Most DynaVap models can be used with concentrates, but require that you purchase an accessory called the DynaCoil—an insert that fits into the tip of the DynaVap vape. This helps create an even surface area for concentrates to melt into without making a mess in the chamber or screen.

Does A DynaVap Actually Save You Money?

When a brand says their vapes will save you money, what does that even mean?

There are a few ways vapes can save you money if they’re designed right. And, DynaVap designs theirs with the focus of saving money in mind.

Extraction Method

As mentioned above, most common dry herb vapes can only extract around 50% of cannabinoids from your herb, leaving you burning through more herb to feel high.

Through conduction heating (no combustion involved) the DynaVap vapes are designed to pull out 80-96% of the active compounds like THC, CBD, and terpenes. This more efficient extraction means that you can get more out of your flower, needing less herb to achieve the same effects as a traditional dry herb vape. This significantly helped stretch our stash.

Battery-Free

Traditional vapes typically consume around 5 watt-hours of electricity per use, which can add up. DynaVap, however, eliminates that cost entirely. Their vapes are battery-free, activated simply with a lighter, so you won’t need battery replacements or worry about adding to your electric bill.

Plus, DynaVap has a calculator that shows how much you can save by factoring in their efficient extraction method and battery-free design. For budget-conscious users, it’s a practical approach to getting the most out of your herb.

DynaVap Review - Three Most Popular Vapes

The highs from the HyperDyn were strong—we used Grand Daddy Purp. For comparison, we used a random dry herb vape a friend had (brand will go unmentioned), and felt like we wasted some good Grandy Daddy Purp—barely felt lifted off the ground. Then loading up some of the same strain in the HyperDyn, we were quickly blitzed.

Features of the dry herb HyperDyn vape include:

  • 0.25g bowl capacity

  • Full medical-grate titanium construction, including the cap

  • Scratch-resistant coating

  • Seven airflow condenser settings

  • 10mm and 14mm tapers to use with water tools like bongs and bubblers

  • Temperature indicator that clicks when optimal vaping temperature reached

The build is solid, using medical-grade titanium with DynaVap’s DuraDyn technology which gives it a noticeable sturdiness. HyperDyn’s design is modular, meaning you can mix and match with previous DynaVap parts if you’re already invested in their other gear.

A notable addition is its dual taper (10mm and 14mm), which fits easily into our bongs for smoother hits. In terms of performance, the HyperDyn’s titanium tip and cap heat evenly, producing a ton of smooth vapor.

Available for $229.

The DynaVap M7 XL

The immediately noticeable thing about the M7 XL was how cool and smooth the vapor was. The “XL” size is supposed to give the vapor more time to cool before hitting the mouth, and we were surprised to see that it made a pretty big difference.

With some dry herb vapes, it’s obvious the flower isn’t burning evenly—the leftover bits are a messy mix of green and dark spots, and you end up trying to salvage and reheat. But the M7 XL heated consistently, and we felt like we got the most out of our bud the first time around.

It also has an adjustable bowl, letting you halve the chamber size if you’re not packing a full load. And, same as the HyperDyn, there’s a temperature indicator that clicks when you can take your hit.

Available for $100.

The Dyanvap B

Features of The “B” include:

  • 10mm tapered mouthpiece compatible with many water bongs/pipes

  • Anti-roll design that keeps it stable on surfaces

  • Compact size can fit in a pocket easily

  • Silicone stem

  • Compatible with other DynaVap parts

  • Battery-free

  • 0.075g capacity

  • Stainless steel parts with food-grade silicone body/stem

The “B” is DynaVap’s most budget-friendly option, made for those just getting into dry herb vaping. If you’re a more seasoned user, the HyperDyn might be a better choice, especially since the larger bowl gives you the opportunity for huge rips.

For a while, this vape was hard to come by, but current DynaVap B online retailers include:

  1. Planet of the Vapes

  2. Tools420

  3. Vapenorth.ca

  4. Great White North Vaporizer Co.

Available for $39.
