Say goodbye to harsh hits with these pro-designed smoking accessories.
Weed accessories are the real heroes of a solid smoke sesh.
I remember the early days—back when papers or a DIY gravity bong made from a plastic bottle did the job just fine. Fast-forward almost a decade, and now I’m deep in the gear game. I’ve learned that using quality tools with my beloved Mary J makes all the difference in hitting that perfect high.
Over the years, I’ve tried countless pieces of gear, and one online headshop that keeps getting my money is DANKGEEK.
Some of the staff and owners have decades of glass-blowing experience (with a specialty in borosilicate glass) and I can honestly see that in the quality of the pieces they make.
Here’s my take on the four recent smoking accessories I’ve tried from DANKGEEK.

I took the DANKGEEK mini dab rig to a buddy’s cottage (because, of course, the good times don’t stop on a road trip, right?). Tossed it in my backpack, threw that in the trunk, and after four hours on the road, this little rig made it in one piece.
The site mentioned it’s made with scientific glass construction, and honestly, I could feel the difference right away—this glass is thicker and sturdier than any other mini rig I’ve tried.
For a small rig, the hits were way smoother than I expected. I still prefer the fuller hits from DANKGEEK’s standard-sized rigs for those longer sessions (they’re easier on the throat), but for something portable, this mini rig can hold its own.
A quick rundown of its features:
5-inch tall barrel dab rig
In-line diffused downstem for smoother pulls
Comes with a 14mm quartz banger and a 14mm flower bowl
14mm female joint
2-4mm thick quartz banger for that perfect balance of flavor and heat
Now I really get it when they say, “Good things come in small packages.”
Why is it that my vapes always die at the worst possible times? I feel like a total fiend dragging a charger out in public, hunting down an outlet just to revive my dead vape.
I saw online that the HALO Portable Vaporizer had a long-lasting battery and a quick warm-up time, so naturally, I put it to the test.
One full charge? Lasted me two days—and I’m talking about hitting it every 15-20 minutes. No warm-up time either, which is impressive given the range of temperatures it offers. Just pressed the button, took a pull from the glass mouthpiece (gotta admit, felt pretty high-class), and instantly got hit with a thick cloud of vapor.
It’s safe to say the HALO lives up to the hype.
Honestly, this bong made me appreciate how much a good perc can change the game.
Before I knew what percs were, I’d buy just about anything that looked like a bong.
A percolator’s main job is to diffuse the smoke as it moves through the water chamber. Once I figured that out, it made total sense why those cheap, basic headshop bongs were torching my throat with every hit.
DANKGEEK has one of the best bongs with percs I’ve tried. It might not look like anything special in the pictures, but this perc seriously puts in the work. The rips (especially with a bit of ice in the catcher) felt pure, smooth, and fully filtered. I didn’t cough once, even on back-to-back hits
These are handmade in Los Angeles, and here’s what you’re working with:
14 or 16-inch tall options
Single or double showerhead perc options (I went with one, and it more than did the job)
18mm female joint
34mm diameter tubing with heavy-wall thickness
14mm male bowl
Ice pinch for those extra-cool hits
